These topic-specific online forums bring together cancer centres, public health authorities, and digital health stakeholders to foster the exchange of expertise and good practices in the cancer care pathway. The Community of Practice (CoP) serves as collaborative learning space, with particular attention to the specific context of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). By facilitating dialogue and peer exchange, these sessions contribute to capacity building and trust among eCAN Plus stakeholders.
The CoP strategy is implemented in close alignment with the project’s technical work packages, fostering synergies and ensuring that dissemination and communication activities are driven by timely knowledge transfer, the availability of results, and the delivery of outputs across the project. In doing so, the CoP aims to significantly contribute to raising visibility and uptake of eCAN Plus findings, while strengthening peer learning, fostering collaborative problem-solving, and supporting the JA’s long-term sustainability strategy.
There will be seven sessions across the project lifetime that will address the following topics:
- Digital health literacy in cancer treatment (WP5) – October 2026
- Telemedicine use towards patients: Specific examples, barriers and key drivers – March 2027
- Telemedicine use between healthcare providers – October 2027
