The Institut Català d’Oncologia (Catalan Institute of Oncology, in Spain) leads the communication area and takes care of all work related to the dissemination of eCAN Plus’ activities, updates, results and recommendations.

Work Package 2

The Communication WP maximises the impact of the Joint Action (JA) by disseminating and communicating the project’s goals, progress and results.

It develops and implements the strategies and tools needed to disseminate the JA’s progress, results and recommendations; manages the project’s stakeholder network; and encourages the exchange of knowledge, the establishment of synergies with other EU initiatives, and the uptake of the project’s findings.

PUBLIC MILESTONES AND DELIVERABLES

Task 2.1 & 2.4: eCAN Plus Dissemination and Communication Plan (Milestones 10 & 11)

This document offers a comprehensive guide that integrates communication and dissemination into the core of eCAN Plus. It promotes internal coherence, delivers external visibility and aligns with EU legislation, all essential elements to reach the project’s goals.

Project leaflet informing on the objectives and results of the project.

Document that collects all communication, dissemination activities organised by and in which the JA’s participants were involved during the JA.

eCAN Dissemination Report

This deliverable provides an overview of the dissemination activities carried out by the eCAN consortium during the first year of the Joint Action. Events, training activities, KPIs on social media and the website, interviews, press releases, newsletters… the Dissemination Report underlines the consortium’s dedication to the visibility and communication of eCAN, echoing the belief that science is not finished until it is communicated.

Stakeholders’ Outreach Approach

Document that describes the main mechanisms used by WP2 to reach out to the stakeholder groups identified for communication, dissemination and visibility purposes. These tools include innovative strategies such as interviews with stakeholders or the use of emerging social networks such as TikTok, an uncharted approach used in a European Joint Action.
