This WP focuses on the implementation of telemedicine in cancer care, with the aim of strengthening the eHealth capabilities of European Cancer Centres. It plans to integrate telemedicine tools along the cancer care pathway, covering multiple care settings and diverse patient populations. The WP explores various telemedicine approaches, including the monitoring of patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) through mobile applications, teleconsultations, and selected use cases.
In parallel, this WP supports the clinical adoption of telemedicine tools, provides training for both patients and healthcare professionals, promotes the sharing of Data Management Plans and cybersecurity protocols, and assesses the outcomes and impact of the pilots.
