The Medical Informatics Europe 2026 (MIE 2026), organised by the European Federation for Medical Informatics, takes place in Genoa from 25–28 May 2026.

Under the theme “Opening the Personal Gate between Technology and Health Care”, the conference will bring together researchers, healthcare professionals, policymakers, industry representatives, and innovators from across Europe and beyond to explore the latest developments in digital health and medical informatics. Discussions will cover topics such as artificial intelligence in healthcare, data science, interoperability, telemedicine, digital health ecosystems, One Health approaches, and education and training in health informatics.

eCAN Plus partners from Greece will be presenting the project in Panel 21 under the title Real-world application of telehealth for cancer patients: Challenges in designing and developing the eCAN+ platform.
