Work Package 4 aims to develop a strategic document (blueprint) that incorporates a set of comprehensive actions to strengthen the digital capabilities of cancer centres across Europe, while defining and tackling identified issues in this regard. It will outline the process of moving from the current ‘as-is’ to the desired ‘to-be’ situation regarding eHealth, telemedicine, remote monitoring systems, health data access and exchange services in European cancer centres. Moreover, it will build on the roadmap that was developed within the eCAN project.
As part of this work, the team will develop a comprehensive understanding of the state of play in Member States and associated countries regarding digital equipment and systems, as well as legislative, guideline and monitoring frameworks for eHealth, telemedicine and remote monitoring in cancer care.
