The 31st European Health Management Conference (EHMC) brings together health managers, leaders, policymakers, researchers, practitioners, and other stakeholders from across Europe and beyond to tackle key challenges facing contemporary health systems.
For 2026, the conference is co-hosted by La Unió – Catalan Hospital, Health and Social Services Association and IESE Business School, reflecting strong local and academic collaboration.
Under the theme “Future-proofing health systems for a changing world: from strategy to action”, this edition emphasises the need to equip health systems with foresight, agility, and practical implementation capacity — not just long-term planning — so they can effectively meet demographic shifts, technological advances, workforce pressures, environmental challenges, and evolving societal needs.
The conference explores how to bridge strategic vision with day-to-day action, focusing on translating health policies into real, sustainable improvements in care delivery and public health outcomes.
