SUMMARY:eCAN Pulse 1st session - The value of engaging end users early: Lessons from the eCAN Plus focus groups
DESCRIPTION:eCAN Pulse is a monthly opportunity for the eCAN Plus scientific community to share and discuss work developed within the Joint Action\, exchange ideas\, and learn from each other. Organised by WP1 – Coordination\, this initiative encourages all project members to take the floor and showcase their contributions to eCAN Plus. \nThe initiative hosts one-hour online scientific sessions where members of the Joint Action can present their work\, discover new research and methodologies\, and discuss experiences\, challenges and perspectives with other members of the community. \nSessions may cover a wide range of topics\, including preliminary findings and research results\, innovative methodologies\, lessons learned\, and new ideas and perspectives related to the work carried out within the project. \nThe first session will explore the value of engaging end users early in the development of digital health initiatives\, drawing on lessons and experiences from the eCAN Plus focus groups. \nThe session will be presented by Anastasia Farmaki (CERTH\, Greece)\, from WP8 (Task 8.2.1)\, and will provide an opportunity for members of the eCAN Plus scientific community to learn more about the work carried out with end users and exchange perspectives with colleagues. \nFor more information\, contact ecan@sciensano.be.

SUMMARY:Community of Practice: Digital Health Literacy in Cancer Treatment
DESCRIPTION:Digital health literacy has emerged as a fundamental cornerstone of healthcare\, carrying profound implications that extend far beyond any single medical discipline. Recognising its critical role\, a growing network of EU projects and initiatives is currently dedicated to elevating digital literacy standards across the territory. \nTo bridge these efforts\, eCAN Plus colleagues from Work Package 5 are developing a comprehensive mapping of the current digital health landscape. This analysis will serve as the strategic foundation for our upcoming event\, which will offer a vital collaborative forum where participants will be able to strengthen peer learning\, foster collaborative problem-solving\, and support the JA’s long-term sustainability strategy.  \nPlease note: The date for this event is currently provisional and will be officially confirmed in the coming weeks. \nWe welcome expressions of interest from all professionals. If you are interested in being involved in the Community of Practice\, please complete the form to indicate your preferred topics.
