SUMMARY:Athens Digital Health Week 2026
DESCRIPTION:Athens Digital Health Week 2026 (ADHW 2026) brings together policymakers\, healthcare professionals\, researchers\, digital health experts and representatives of European initiatives supporting the implementation of the European Health Data Space (EHDS). \nThe event provides a valuable platform for exchanging knowledge\, sharing experiences and strengthening collaboration around the digital transformation of healthcare. \nWith 195 speakers\, 550 participants from 22 countries and more than 30 European projects\, ADHW 2026 offers an excellent opportunity to increase the project’s visibility\, exchange knowledge with key stakeholders\, strengthen collaborations and promote the importance of digital health literacy in improving cancer care and patient outcomes across Europe. \neCAN Plus members of the Papageorgiou General Hospital participate in the event in the panel discussion “No Literacy\, No Uptake: Why Digital Health in Cancer Care Fails without Education\, Training & Active Engagement”. The session highlights the importance of digital health literacy\, education\, training and active stakeholder engagement in supporting the successful implementation of digital solutions in cancer care.

DESCRIPTION:The 2nd Pan-Cypriot Oncology Conference brings together healthcare professionals and specialists in oncology to discuss the latest developments in cancer care and treatment. The conference focuses on interdisciplinary discussion and the personalization of treatment\, with the patient at the centre of care. \nThe event provides an opportunity for professionals to exchange knowledge\, share expertise\, and explore current advances and challenges in oncology. It is organized by the Cyprus Oncology Society under the auspices of the Ministry of Health and the Cyprus Medical Association. \nAs part of the programme\, eCAN Plus is presented in a session titled “European Health Data Space in Oncology: Opportunities\, Challenges and National Readiness.” The session presents the efforts undertaken to establish the network to support the Patient Summary and addresses additional challenges and requirements to ensure alignment with the framework defined by the European Health Data Space (EHDS).
