Their often non-specific symptoms can make diagnosis challenging. \nThe annual observance brings greater visibility to these relatively uncommon tumours and highlights the importance of timely diagnosis\, appropriate treatment and access to specialised care. \nHealthcare professionals\, patient organisations\, researchers and communities use the occasion to share information\, support people affected by NETs and encourage continued research and collaboration.
